Michael S. Grover

NORTH WATERFORD — Michael S. Grover, 49, of North Waterford, died Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2013, at his home.

He was born in Norway on Jan. 21, 1964, the son of Reid and Sylvia Johnson Grover. He graduated from Oxford Hills High School and realized his lifelong dream of owning and operating Grover’s Garage. He married Karen Osgood on Sept. 25, 1992.

He enjoyed Model T cars, raising mini donkeys and horses, hanging out on the farm, racing, snowmobiling and go kart racing. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and entertaining — he was the life of the party.

He is survived by his wife Karen of North Waterford; his mother Sylvia of Norway; a daughter, Ann-Marie Adams and Tim Packard of North Waterford; a brother, Bradley and wife Andrea of North Waterford; special cousin Bion Pike; grandchildren, Ian Adams of E. Waterboro, Brenden Adams of Lewiston, Dylan Adams of North Waterford, and Destiny Adams of North Waterford; aunts, uncles and cousins; and close friends, Adrien Morin, Richie and Dottie Morse, Colleen and Jeff Winslow, and Billy Lubier.

He was predeceased by his father.

A celebration of his life was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at the home of Brad and Andrea Grover, 132 Fisk Rd., North Waterford. Donations in his memory may be made to the Waterford Fire Dept. or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Maine. Arrangements are under the care of Oxford Hills Funeral Services, 1037 Main St., Oxford.
