Michael L. Beaudoin

GREENE — Michael Leo Beaudoin, 61, passed away Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at home in Greene, Maine, from multiple illnesses.

Born on May 22, 1956, in Lewiston, to Marilys and Maurice Beaudoin, he was employed in the machining and engineering industry for over 40 years until his retirement in 2014 due to illness.

He married the love of his life, Joyce, and they enjoyed 40 plus years together. Her tireless love and devotion afforded him miraculous strength to fight his illnesses. Against all odds, he lived years longer than his original life expectancy of only months.

He loved his family and always tried to live by example, instilling morals and values in his daughters. Prior to his illness he was very active outdoors and enjoyed many hikes, vacations and adventures with family and pets. He enjoyed motorcycle rides, muscle cars, four-wheeling, and the ocean. He was a member of Shepherd’s Chapel for over 20 years. He will always be remembered and loved.

Michael was predeceased by his parents, Marilys and Maurice Beaudoin; many family members; friends; and beloved pets.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; daughter Monica Pomerleau and son-in-law David Pomerleau; daughter Shauna Beaudoin and partner Mike Lee; daughter Amber and son-in-law Josh Lapointe; grandchildren Myles and Evelyn; many family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will take place on Sunday, March 18, at 4 p.m., at Ricky’s Diner (257 Main Street) in Bridgton.
