BUXTON — Michael Forbis, 55, of Buxton passed away Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2018, at Maine Medical Center.

He was born in Portland on July 12, 1963, the son of James and Sharon Ganung Forbis Sr. Michael attended local schools and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School. He was a self-employed carpenter for many years, who enjoyed the company of his dog, Buddy.

Michael is survived by his mother, Sharon Forbis of Buxton; three brother, James L. Forbis Jr. of Bridgton, Andrew Forbis of Buxton and John Forbis of Rockland; and a sister, Victoria Forbis of Lewiston; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Private family services will be at the convenience of the family.
