ASHLAND, MASS. — Melissa “Missy” Manza, 40, of Ashland, Mass., died Saturday. Feb. 6, 2016.

She was born in Fitchburg, Mass., the daughter of Steven and Maureen (Flathers) Johnson. Missy earned a BA from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Mass., and went on to receive her MSW from Boston College. She worked at the Perkins School in Lancaster, Mass., for 20 years, most recently serving as the school’s Director of Behavioral Health.

Missy leaves her beloved husband Dave and their dear son Samuel. She also leaves her parents of Harrison, Maine; her sister Kristina and husband Justin Barclay of Marblehead, Mass.; and her brother Tim and wife Kelsey Johnson of Rye, N.Y. She also leaves nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, among many family and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, Feb. 11th at 11:30 a.m., in St. Mary’s Church, 8 Church Street in Holliston, followed by burial in Wildwood Cemetery in Ashland.
