AUBURN – Maxine Ann Bunker, 52, of Portland, died on Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice surrounded by her family.

She was born in Portland on April 30, 1964, a daughter of Frank and Annette Emond. She graduated from Lake Region High School in Naples. She then attended college and became a lead chef at a restaurant, as well as the shipyard. Her passion was cooking. When she wasn’t in the kitchen, she could be found watching cooking shows on Food Network. She was a highly-independent, strong woman who worked hard as a single mom and always lived life to the fullest.

She is survived by her parents, Frank and Annette Emond of Bryant Pond; daughter, Annette Sukeforth of Virginia Beach, Va.; son, Steven Emond of Calif.; brother, John Emond of Lewiston; three grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.

Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Conroy-Tully Walker Funeral Home, 172 State Street, Portland.
