Maud E. Edwards, 90, of Sebago, died early Friday morning, Aug. 12, 2016 at the Bridgton Health & Residential Care Center in Bridgton.

Maud was born on May 17, 1926, one of seven children to the late George and Abbie (Penell) Burnell. She was the last surviving sibling of four brothers, Kenny, Austin, Ernest and Raymond and two sisters, Freda and Elsie.

On March 26, 1946, she married her husband of 54 years, Elwood S. Edwards and shared many happy times and created numerous memories at what was known to family and friends as the farm on Anderson Road in Sebago.
 She enjoyed having company at the farmhouse, long rides in the car, vanilla ice cream, picnics, attending her son’s sporting events, fishing, crocheting, singing in the church choir and was an avid Red Sox fan. She loved her many years of membership to the North Sebago United Methodist Church and attending all of the functions.

She is survived by her two sons, Alan and Ronald, both of Sebago; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2016 at the Sebago Lakeside Cemetery, Kimball Corner Road, Sebago.

Gifts may be made in her memory to the North Sebago United Methodist Church, 820 Sebago Rd., Sebago, ME 04029.
