Mary E. Gove, 66

DENMARK — Mary E. Gove, 66, of Denmark, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2014, following a lengthy illness.
Mary was born in Lincoln, graduated from Cony High School in Augusta, and attended the University of Maine in Farmington. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield in South Portland for 17 years and recently, in the job she loved the most, as a school bus driver for special needs students in SAD 6. Mary spent most of her adult life living in York County, where she developed a great community of friends and was very strong in her faith as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She loved Maine, the outdoors, her cats, sharing time and experiences with her many friends and couldn’t imagine a better place to live.
She is survived by her brothers, Collin, Donald Jr., Peter, Matthew and Walter; sisters, Martha, Deborah and Rebecca; stepmother Wilma; an uncle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 157 Ossipee Trail (Route 25), Limington.
