Mary Dash

FRYEBURG — Mary C. (Hull) Dash, 82, of Naples, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 16, 2015.

She was married for 62 years to the late Arlie Dash.

She was born on Sept. 1, 1932 in Beverly, Mass., the daughter of the late Ralph and Susan (Chabant) Hull. She attended the local school and graduated from Beverly High School. She was a devoted wife and mother, who was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends.

Outside of her family, Mary’s passion was caring for her beloved dogs at McDerry’s Kennel, which she did for 46 wonderful years. She was also the breeder of Maine’s “First Best in Show” Irish setter (Ch. McDerry Sandpiper).

Mary was a kind, sweet, generous loving soul who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her four children, Susan Humphrey, Deborah Lavery, Laurie Dash and Glenn Dash; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as her brother, Ralph Hull Jr.

A celebration of Mary’s life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at The Elm’s, 102 Cumberland Street, Westbrook from 12 to 4 p.m.
