Mary A. Bailey

BRIDGTON — Mary A. Bailey, 89, of Harrison, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Bridgton Hospital. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 9, 1922, the daughter of Bryan K. and Lillian Burgess Annable. She graduated from Classical High School and had been employed at Industrial Bank. She married Edgar Bailey on March 25, 1944. She had been a homemaker all of her life, she was an avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles. She loved to watch the birds and squirrels. She is survived by her husband of Harrison; her sons, Bryan Bailey and Glenn Bailey; her daughter, Robin Mayes; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Beverly Buiack; a brother, Bryan Annable; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Barry Bailey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 13 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville, Rhode Island. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Oct. 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Acotes Cemetery in Chepachet, Rhode Island.
