SOUTH PORTLAND — Marilyn June Kaplinger, 85, died on Friday, Nov. 7, 2014.
She was born in Auburn, a daughter of Herbert and Methyl Yeaton Holbrook. She was raised in Raymond by Bernard and Roxie Coates Jordan. Marilyn was a mother, homemaker, taught Sunday school and sang in the choir. She later worked for more than 20 years in the toy industry. She shared 63 wonderful years with the love of her life, Fred, who passed away last year.
Surviving are two sons, Christian and James; her daughter, Darlene; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours were held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco. A graveside service followed at Raymond Hill Cemetery in Raymond.
