Margery Brown

CENTER CONWAY, N.H. — After a long illness, Margery Brown left the physical world, peacefully, on Monday, May 15, 2017, leaving behind many loved ones.

Born in Wolfeboro, N.H. on March 4, 1951, Margery lived with her family and attended local schools. In 1973, she became established with the Center of Hope (now Northern Human Services, New Horizons), where she learned independent living skills, developed her artistic talents, and later, began weaving at Essence of Art in North Conway.
Marge shared her weaving skills with customers, demonstrating at schools and her favorite place, the Fryeburg Fair.

In 1993, Margery moved to Fryeburg to the home of Willie and Jeanne Moore until 2012 when she moved to the home of Robert and Donna Sawyer in East Conway. Both of these homes provided Margery with a loving and nurturing life; one in which she was provided with numerous opportunities.

Margery enjoyed attending powwows, going on many vacations, dancing, singing, weaving, bike riding, fishing, knitting, and playing with children, cats and dogs.
Margery was always available to greet others with a warm hug and smile and ask them about their day.

Margery was predeceased by her father, William H. Brown in 1980; her brother, Kenneth Brown in 1990; her mother, Janita Brown in 1997; and her sister, Barbara Savary in 2000.
