Louise J. Randall

CASCO — Louise J. Randall, 67, of Casco, formerly of Bridgton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010.

She was born in Lewiston, on Nov. 26, 1942, the daughter of Louis and Gertrude Poirier. She graduated from St. Dom's High School and Bliss College. She married David Randall in 1961.

They moved to Bridgton in 1967. Louise was a secretary at Pleasant Mountain Moc for over 20 years. She also worked at Reny's as a sales clerk. She was an active Bridgton Jaycee member's wife for many years. Louise was involved with the faith community at St. Joseph Church. She volunteered with St. Joseph's Food Pantry. She went on pilgrimages to France and to Italy. Louise moved to Casco in 2006, where she lived with her daughter and family. She retired in 2008 as her health declined. She loved sharing in the lives of her five grandchildren. She enjoyed a lifelong love of reading.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Lawrence Randall of McDough, Ga.; daughter Susan Symonds of Casco; and five grandchildren. She is also survived by brother Paul Poirier of Barre, Vt.
Visiting hours were from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 25 at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church in Bridgton, followed by a reception. Online condolences may be left at hallfuneralhomeinc.com
