What is your favorite class? WS. Spanish 4. The class is pretty small, so we are able to cover a lot of material fairly easily. And, learning a second language is exciting to me.
What is your toughest class? WS. AP Calculus. The material is really challenging, especially in preparing for the AP test.
How do you balance your class work and your extracurricular activities? WS. I try really hard to utilize the few free periods that I have in my day to get my class work done so that I have plenty of time for extracurricular activities.
What is the biggest challenge high school students face today? WS. In our high school, with all of the new changes, there are a lot of kids who basically give up on school. This makes it really hard for the few who are still trying their hardest and trying to make the most out of what we have. Luckily, I have most of my classes with a group of students who are still working their hardest and together so we are able to get the most out of LRHS.
Who has inspired you educationally? WS. Mary Hubka, my Spanish teacher for the past two years. She has an amazing passion and dedication for Spanish and always works hard to make sure our class is engaged and learning.
