What is your favorite class? My favorite class is Math, because it comes easiest to me.
What is your toughest class? My toughest class is AP Government, because I haven’t found the most effective way of studying for that subject.
How do you balance your class work and your extracurricular activities? I find myself being able to keep up with school work best when I’m involved in after-school activities, because when I’m busier, I know that time management is very important. I come to the realization that I don’t have much spare time on my hands, so I have to take advantage of it while I can.
What is the biggest challenge high school students face today? I believe the biggest challenge high school students face today is time management. I believe there are many students, who are more than capable of getting their work done and studying for tests, but fail to do so, because they haven’t figured out how to manage their time correctly.
Who has inspired you educationally? When thinking about who has inspired me educationally, there is one teacher at the high school who stands out the most to me, and that would be Mr. Ian Carlson. Mr. Carlson is the teacher who really pushes me to strive for the best. He knows what I can handle, so he makes sure to challenge me to do things I wouldn’t necessarily do on my own.
