Linda M. Belanger

BUCKFIELD — Linda Marie Belanger (Bosworth), 62, died in an automobile accident on Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010.

She was born in Brockton, Mass., to Richard and Emma Bosworth. She graduated from Silver Lake Regional High School in Kingston, Mass., in 1966. She moved to Maine in 1972.

An avid photographer, many of her works were featured in area locales. She was an accomplished cook and baker, winning a number of notable bake-offs. A dancer, figure skater and seamstress, Linda will be especially remembered for her quick wit, spirit of adventure, a tenaciousness that allowed her to achieve top rankings in many diverse endeavors and most notably, her love of Florida’s Disney World, having made 176 visits with numerous friends starting in the early Seventies. While on one of her earlier visits, she met and became lifelong friends with Joan Billingham of Norfolk, England.

Survivors include her husband, Patrick Belanger of Buckfield; her mother, Emma Riley of Mechanic Falls; three sons, Ryan Ellis, Adam Kezer and Gordon Kezer, all of Maine; numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren; her sister, Susan Johnson of Harrison; and her brother, Frank Bosworth of Cape Cod.

In lieu of services, a celebration of life will be held for Linda on Sunday, Nov. 7, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.
