Linda Collins

Linda J. Collins (Mowatt), 71, of Bridgton passed away on Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 after a brief illness.

She lived her life in Bridgton working at various local establishments including holding the title of Special Agent for Bridgton Police Department. She enjoyed many years working as a manager at Leadbetter’s Bake Shop and Deli. Linda worked alongside doctors in the Emergency Room, Emergency Department Registration and happily retiring from Bridgton Hospital Medical Records Department in 2010.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kristie Scelzo of Gray and Laurie Huntress of Bridgton; five grandchildren and one great-grandson; her sister, Wanda Phillips of East Baldwin; brothers, Timothy Mowatt of North Windham and Eric Mowatt of Denmark.

She was predeceased by sister, Sharon Mowatt of Bridgton; and parents, Gordon and Elsie Mowatt of Bridgton.

There will be a burial service for family and friends in the spring of 2016. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Masonic Hall in Bridgton on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at 1 p.m.
