Lewis Strout

NEWBURY, MASS. — Lewis E. Strout, of Newbury, Mass. and formerly of Fryeburg, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 15, 2015, while in Florida. He just celebrated his 79th birthday.

Lewis is survived by his wife, Marilyn, with whom he shared almost 60 wonderful years. He is also survived by his daughter, Cathy Batchelder of Newburyport, Mass.; sons, Lewis Strout of Plant City, Fla. and Richard Strout of Lynn, Mass.; a sister, Janet Larkin, of Leesburg, Fla.; a brother, Carl Strout of Saugus, Mass.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his Maine and Florida friends. His family will never forget his love he bestowed upon them and especially, his sense of humor and his kidding ways.

If you should desire, donations in Lewis’ name may be made to the Shriners’ Children’s Hospital.

There will be no calling hours. There will be a private family ceremony in Massachusetts, at a later date.
