WEST PARIS — Leo Francis Nadeau, native of Bangor, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at Ledgeview Living Center. Leo died due to complication with ALS.

Leo was born March 31, 1941, the son of Alcide and Jacqueline (Cox) Nadeau.

He was a former resident of Phoenix and Mesa, Ariz., for the past 40 years. He came to Maine to spend the remainder of his days with his sister Mary Lou Hallee and her husband, Richard, of Norway and his brother Jerry Nadeau of Sebago.

He was a graduate of John Bapst High School of 1959 and Fullerton Junior College of 1968, and California College of Fullerton, Class of 1970. He also served in the Air National Guard out of Maine and New Hampshire.

He is survived by his daughter, Lynette Nadeau Amarillo of Applegate, Ore.; a granddaughter; his son, Leo Dirk Nadeau of Nashua, N.H.; a grandson; sister, Mary Lou Hallee of Norway; brother, Jerry Nadeau of Sebago; several nieces and nephews; a very special grandnephew and his “huggie girls” grandnieces, Katherine and Elizabeth Hallee of Harrison.
