Larry Lamb

Larry E. Lamb, 68, of Bridgton, died peacefully, Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, in the comfort of his home.

He was born on Apr. 15, 1946, in Otisfield, a son of Ralph and Geraldine Lamb. He attended Otisfield schools. On Jan. 22, 1972, he married Brenda Ridlon, of North Bridgton, in Otisfield.

Larry worked at Robinson Manu-facturing in Oxford for over 20 years. Later in life he worked at Walmart, Hannaford, and within the Lake Region School District. Recently, he has enjoyed working at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds during fair season.

He was a longtime member of the Bridgton Alliance Church and a member of the Bridgton Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, learning the history of old local sawmills, and volunteering anywhere he could.

Larry is survived by his son, David Lamb and his wife, Susan of Gorham; a grandson, Craig Pelletier of Gorham; and a sister, Gloria McAllister and her husband, Glyde of Lewiston. He was predeceased by his parents and wife, Brenda, on July 3, 2012.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at the North Bridgton Cemetery.
