Laker Kate Hall is Track & Field All-State selection

To top off a phenomenal track and field year, Kate Hall of Casco placed fourth in the 100 meters at the Nationals held in North Carolina , earning her All-American status. The Lake Region junior also placed seventh in the long jump.

Kate Hall of Casco, now a Lake Region High School junior, has been named to the Maine All-State track and field team.

At the national meet in North Carolina, Hall was fourth in the 100 (11.74) and was the only sophomore in the final. She also took seventh in the long jump (18-8).

At New Englands, Hall won the 100 (11.69), and set all-time state bests in the long jump (second, 19-03/4) and 200 (third, 24.89). She swept the three events at the Class B state meet, and set an all-time state best of 11.68 in the 100 at the Western Maine Conference championships.
