OUTSTANDING STUDENT-ATHLETES — Pictured left to right: Meghan Skarbinski, Elizabeth Schreiber, Lucy Fowler, Casey Heath, Miranda Chadbourne and Courtney Yates — senior members of the Lake Region varsity field hockey team — have been recognized nationally for their outstanding academic accomplishments. These seniors made the 2013 Gladiator by SGI/NFHCA High School National Academic Squad, earning a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 out of 4.0 through the first quarter of the 2013-2014 school year. Chadbourne, Heath and Schreiber have been recognized as Scholars of Distinction, achieving a minimum GPA of 3.9 out of 4.0.
