CASCO – Kerry D. Keefe, 65, of Casco, died surrounded by family and friends on Friday, Nov. 20, 2015.

Born and raised in Portland, Kerry was a graduate of Deering High School and SMVTI. Among one of his many achievements, in 1983, he was one of two people to become an OMC Master Marine Technician. Kerry was known throughout the Lake Region for his expert knowledge of motors and boats and superior customer service. He had a distinguished career at Frost Harbor Marine, Raymond, Albert G. Frost Marine, South Portland, and Royal River Boat Yard, Yarmouth. Kerry was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Married to his loving wife, Marla, for 43 years, they enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycles and snowmobiles — and, most of all — time spent with their grandchildren.

Kerry was predeceased by his father John Keefe, and his brother William “Wink” Amergian.

He is survived by his mother Madelyn Amergian; his brother Steven Keefe, DO; his wife Marla; his son Alan Keefe and daughter-in-law Deana Keefe, and their two children Adison and Kamden of Naples; and his daughter Alyssa Keefe and son-in law Jason Fuehner, and their daughter Sydney of Alexandria, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Kerry will be at Hall Funeral Home, 165 Quaker Ridge Road, Casco, on Friday, Nov. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m., and a funeral mass will be held on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 9:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 919 Roosevelt Trail, Windham.
