Keith Windham

INVERNESS, FLORIDA — Keith Craig Windham, 57, of Inverness, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2017, at his home under the loving care of his family.

Keith was born on June 9, 1959, in Ocala, Fla., to Ralph L, Sr. and Elizabeth (Perry) Windham. Keith lived in Inverness for 40 years, moving to Montana for a short time, then he moved to Maine and finally returned home to the family ranch in Inverness. His lifetime career was in retail management, most recently as a meat manager for Winn Dixie. He had a passion for hunting and fishing, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Perry.

He is survived by his loving wife Stacy; four children, Julie and her husband Ben, April and her husband Robert, Hunter and Merlen; his in-laws, Sue and Merlen Polland; one brother, Ray and his wife Laura; one sister, Sarah and her partner Mark; two grandchildren, Brielle and Rainer; lifelong friends, Byron, Matt and Mack. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends in both Florida and Maine.

Private cremation will take place under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, Fla.

A Celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to assist with medical and funeral expenses, in care of Brown Funeral Home, 5430 West Gulf to Lake Hwy., Lecanto, FL 34461.
