GORHAM — Keith A. Sayward, 57, of Gorham, passed away on July 21, 2013.

He was born in Westbrook on Aug. 26, 1955, the son of Harvey and Elizabeth Lamb Sayward. Keith was educated in the Gorham schools and was a 1973 graduate of Gorham High School. He then served in the U.S. Army from 1976-79.

Keith worked as a laborer in the Gorham/Windham area most of his life, most recently at NexCycle. He was a member of the American Legion and a longtime member of the NRA.

Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as all outdoor activities. He was also an avid cook and was a legendary fudge maker. Keith had also taken a course in gunsmithing.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his brothers, Lyman R. Sayward of Gorham, Norman D. Lamb of Gorham and his twin brother, Kenneth A. Sayward of Raymond; sisters, Claudia A. Sullivan of Yarmouth, Penny J. Loura of Gorham and Susan J. Howard of Gorham; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 26, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 27, at 10 a.m., at the White Rock Cemetery, North Gorham Road, Gorham. Online condolences may be sent to www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com
