Joseph Loreto Barone, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 10, 2015 at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Joe was born in Revere, Mass. on April 2, 1950 to Joseph Barone and his wife Angelica DiPrizzo. Joe attended and graduated from Revere High School and attended two years of college. Joe joined the Army and attained the rank of Sergeant.

Joe worked at Eastern Tool & Stamping in Saugus, Mass. and at Hannaford in Bridgton before retiring. He served as deacon at Grace Christian Church in Bridgton for many years.

Joe is predeceased by his twin brother, Pat; and his first wife, Anna Rose.

He is survived by his wife, Ruthann Barone; his sister, Meg Hanson; his children, Deanna Barone, Joseph D. Barone, Dawne Vilaylak, Wendell Dyer, William Dyer, Kim Wannapong, Hazel Medina and Kendal Dyer; along with numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.

Services were held on Wednesday, July 15 at Grace Christian Church, 11 Pinhook Road in Bridgton. An hour of visitation was held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. followed by a Celebration of Life starting at 5:30 p.m. Refreshments followed in the Fellowship Hall.
