WATERFORD – Jennifer R. Daggett, 37, of Waterford, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2016, in a tragic accident.

She was born Feb. 9, 1979, at Norway Hospital, and was the daughter of Ramona and James LaChance of Harrison, and Harry W. Ross Jr. of Florida.

She attended high school at Oxford Hills and Lewiston, graduating in 1997. She was a member of 4-H for many years, showing animals and exhibiting at the fairs. She was a free spirit, a beautiful artist, an avid horsewoman, and a beloved mother. She loved all her children very much.

She loved all creatures, from the goats she showed, to her horse Rowan, to the tiniest spider. She loved everything outdoors, whether swimming in the river, riding her horse, a campfire at night, or dancing in the rain. She felt as one with nature.

She never said goodbye as she felt “see ya latter” meant we would always see each other again. She loved babies and, more than anything, adored her four children. She loved music and will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her husband, John Daggett of Florida; her daughter, Sara Cameo Frutos of Harrison; sons, Emory Thomas Frutos, Henry James Frutos and Jayce Ernest Fernando Frutos, and their father, James Frutos of Texas; her parents of Harrison; her father of Florida; her siblings, Andrea Morganson (David) of Georgia, Heather Gibbert (Jeremy) of Leeds, Joni Poirier (Michael) of Harrison, Samuel Ross (Greta) of Harrison, Lynn Colwell of N.H., Daniel Burnell of N.H., Angelina Smith of Florida, and Celeste Hill (Sam) of Leeds; her grandparents, Samuel and Linda Knight of Harrison; her grandmother, Doris LaChance of Danville; a special friend, David Giasson of Waterford; and many aunts, uncles nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Harry and Eleanor Ross Sr.; her grandfather, Donald Lachance of Danville; her great-grandparents, Avis and Berle Rand; her uncle, Jean Meister Jr.; stepmother, Barbara Smith; and great-uncles and aunts.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 9, at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 45 Main Street, South Paris, where a memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.
