Jennie V. Kilponen

SOUTH PARIS — Jennie V. Kilponen, 81, of South Paris, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Market Square Health Care.

She was born in West Paris, June 15, 1931, the daughter of Joseph and Inez Ring. She was educated in local schools and married Ellis Kilponen Sr., Aug. 18, 1955.

She worked at Penley’s and Mecon Manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed going for rides and clipping coupons.

She is survived by her children, Gail Farr of Canton; Lorraine Bonney of Sumner; Debra Kangas of West Paris; Karen Morse of New Hampshire; Belinda Edmunds of Waterford; Mark Kilponen of South Paris and Ellis Kilponen Jr. of South Paris; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jim Ring of West Paris and her sister, Dolly Walker of South Paris and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 53 years and her brother, Jack Ring.
