Lewiston — James W. Swasey, 62, of Lovell, died Monday, March 12 at Central Maine Medical Center. He was born in Saco on Nov. 13, 1949, the son of Harry and Avis Sawyer Swasey. He attended Bridgton High School and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. James married Patrice Bishop on Aug. 31, 1973. He was the manager of the Lil’ Mart convenience store in Fryeburg. He was a dedicated worker. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, reading and was a handyman who loved building projects around his home.

He is survived by his wife of Lovell; a son, Aaron and his wife Amber of Raymond; a daughter, Jessica Swasey of Lovell; granddaughters, Cecelia Hawes, Eden Swasey and Gwenna Swasey; his mother, Avis Swasey of Bar Mills; and two sisters, Patti Dodge of Bridgton and Lisa Ross of Bar Mills.
