OXFORD — James “Jamie” R. Farrington, 43, of Oxford, died Friday, March 21, at his home.

He was born in Norway on Oct. 29, 1970, the son of Glendon and Winona Judkins Farrington. Jamie graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1989 and had been employed at MCD as a residential care aide. He had been a D.J. for 25 years, well-known as “DJ Bumps.” He was a counselor at the Y.M.C.A., played softball and enjoyed watching sports on TV. He participated in the pool tournaments held at Crazy 8’s, enjoyed bowling, races at Oxford Plains Speedway, wrestling and hockey.

He is survived by his mother of Oxford; aunts, Pam Judkins, Gloria Carro and Janice Bell; uncles Robert Judkins Sr. and Kenneth Farrington and his wife Phyllis; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his father.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. at the Oxford Advent Christian Church. Donations in his memory may be made to his mother, c/o Oxford Federal Credit Union.
