James Garcelon

BROCKTON, MASS. — James H. Garcelon, 66, of Brockton, Mass., and Center Lovell, formerly of Sutton and Dorchester, Mass., passed away peacefully Monday, March 6, 2017.

James was the beloved husband of 25 years of Eugene M. “Gene” Hoy. Beloved son of the late C. Frederic and E. Muriel Garcelon.

Late employee of Jackson-Lewis PC, Boston and former independent contractor in the Boston area. Grad-uate of Boston University, School of Education.

Adored brother of David Garcelon and his wife Kathleen MacKay, Edith Garcelon, Stephen Garcelon, John Garcelon and his wife Mary, Thomas Garcelon, Mark Garcelon and the late Ruth Fuller. Brother-in-law of Leanne Hoy-Kerrigan and Alfred Fuller. Stepson of Brenda B. Garcelon and devoted son-in-law to the late Richard G. and Geraldine M. Hoy. Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Ave., Milton, Mass., Thursday, March 9, 4 to 8 p.m. Burial at a later date in North Lovell Cemetery, North Lovell.
