James C. Cochran, 53

BALDWIN — James C. Cochran, 53, of Baldwin, died Sunday, April 20, 2014.

James was born in Portland, the son of Edmond and Annegret “NeiRaus” Cochran Jr.

He was educated at the Woodford’s Educational Center in Portland and the Prides Training School in South Portland.

James worked at Goodwill Industries for 12 years as a processor of donations. He participated in the Special Olympics and won a medal in the mile race.

He is predeceased by his parents.

Survivors include his brother, Robert J. Cochran of Marquette, Mich.; sisters Rebecca Dolbow of South Portland and Laura Cochran of South Portland; along with many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and Victoria Jones.

Visiting hours were held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the Hobbs Funeral Home, 230 Cottage Road, South Portland. A funeral service will be held at noon on Thursday, April 24 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland.
