DERRY, N.H. — Holly M. Rice, 69, passed away with her daughters by her side at Parkland Medical Center on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Holly was born in Winchester, Mass., on December 23, 1952, the daughter of Wilson E. and Virginia M. (Coughlin) Rice.

Early in her life, Holly studied her passions of photography and animal health. When she wasn’t caring for animals, she was taking photos of her family, her animals and nature. Holly also developed a strong faith and became very
involved in the Catholic Church, even working there for many years. In her later life, Holly continued feeding her passion by loving and caring for her dogs and relying on her faith to get her through her illness.

Holly is survived by her daughter Haley Hall and her husband Matthew Parisot of Union; her daughter Ashley Hall of Bridgton; and her devoted dogs Buddy, Darby, and Ivy of Bridgton. She is also survived by her brother Wilson Rice Jr.; and sister Carolyn Helwig. Holly is also survived by nephews Darren Helwig and Skip Rice, and nieces Heather Helwig and Lindsay Knapp.

A funeral Mass will be held for Holly on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, in Fryeburg.
