EXETER, N.H. — Helen M. Grover, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in Exeter, N.H.

She was born in Portland, the daughter of Erlon W. and Grace M. Rand. She was a resident of Naples for about 30 years, and a former employee at the Bridgton Knitting Mill. Mrs. Grover was a housekeeper at Bridgton Hospital. She enjoyed reading and playing bingo at Sunbridge of Exeter.

She is survived by four children, John of Greenland, N.H., Denis and Lindley, both of Naples and Scott of Portsmouth, N.H.; six grandchildren; a brother, Erlon W. Rand Jr. of Turner; and a daughter-in-law, Barbara Rogers of Rochester, N.H., who stood by Helen’s side until the end of her life.

Helen was the widow of Lindley L. Grover, who died in 1992. She was also predeceased by a sister, Alice Rand Kennison, and a brother, Fred W. Rand.

Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter, N.H. Burial will be at Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Auburn on Saturday, Aug. 20 at 1 p.m.
