RAYMOND — Hazel Hinds, 90, of Raymond, died on Friday evening, April 8, 2011 at Bridgton Hospital.

She was born in Livermore Falls, the daughter of Pierre and Delia Pomerleau Provencal.

Hazel married Francis Hinds on Sept. 28, 1957. She worked as a hairdresser her entire working life, owning her own shops in Westbrook and Portland. Hazel served as an Eucharistic minister at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Windham. Her faith was very important to her.

She was predeceased by her parents; three sisters, Marion, Bertha and Geneta; and two brothers, Cleveland and Earl.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Francis; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Windham. Burial will be at St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Lewiston at a later date. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home, Casco.
