Harry Parady Jr.

PORTLAND — Harry Maurice Parady Jr., 59, of Portland, died on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.

He grew up in Lisbon Falls, and attended Lisbon High School, where he was a member of the basketball and track teams. He later graduated from the University of Maine and then went on to Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was a dentist for 25 years. Harry enjoyed antiquing, collecting, reading, playing Scrabble, painting and eating sushi. But, most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and young grandchildren. He will be forever loved and missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harry Maurice Parady Sr. and Viola Virginia Hemburg of Lisbon Falls; his sister, Nancy Parady, of Chester, Va.; and nephew Frank Ascoli.

He is survived by his wife, Jacquie Parady of Portland; son, Luke Parady of Boulder, Colo.; twin daughters, Chelsea Parady and Casea Parady of Portland; his two beloved grandchildren, Logan and Madelyn; sister, Brenda Dow of Milford, Conn.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In respect of Harry's final wishes, all services are private. A remembrance will be planned at a later date. Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral and Cremation Services are in charge of the arrangements.
