Harry L. Glover, 50

Harry L. Glover, 50, of Bridgton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Central Maine Medical in Lewiston after a yearlong battle with lung cancer.

He was born on Sept. 18, 1962 in Bridgton, the son of Eugene and Rose (Lee) Glover.

Harry attended Fryeburg Academy and Lake Region High School. He was a 35-year member and captain of the Bridgton Fire Department and a chief of the Sweden Fire Department. He also worked for United Ambulance Service.

He enjoyed riding motorcycles, bass fishing, snowmobiling and many other outdoor activities.

Harry is survived by two sons, Jeremiah of South Paris, and Harry of Washington state; two stepchildren, Maranda of Florida and Christopher of Michigan; and three granddaughters; a sister, Angel of Norway; and his fiance, Susan Lorrain of Bridgton.

He was predeceased by his parents.

Services will be held at Stevens Brook Elementary School on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 3 p.m. The public is welcome. A reception will follow at Central Fire Station in Bridgton.
