Harland E. Stultz

GORHAM — Harland E. Stultz, 76, of Gorham, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

He was born in Portland, the son of Paul L. and Pearl H. (Small) Stultz. He was raised in Gorham and attended Gorham schools. Harland served in the United States Marine Corps.

He owned and operated New England Boat in Bridgton for many years. He was a member of the Luckson Ski Club at Highland Lake. He was an avid skier for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and snowmobiling. Harland also had his pilot’s license and owned a floatplane for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Reid) Stultz of Gorham; his stepmother, Bertha D. Stultz of Cape Elizabeth; his son, Christopher L. of Harrison; a stepdaughter, Patricia Peisel of Quincy, Mass.; two stepbrothers, Paul Stultz Jr. of Maryland and James Stultz of Windham; two stepsisters, Diane Shepard of Brewer and Martha Jane Eaton of Scarborough; and a grandson.

Following his wishes, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service. Arrangements are by Blais & Hay Funeral Home, Westbrook.
