Lake Region senior Kate Hall competed in the Rhode Island Classic on Saturday and defended her titles in the long jump and 55-meter dash.
Her 55m time in the trials was 7.10 seconds. Her time in the finals was 7.06 seconds.
She jumped 19 feet, 7.5 inches in the long jump.
“It is early in the season, but her 55m is ranked third nationally and her long is ranked Number 1! Yes, that is #1 in the nation,” Lake Region Indoor Track Coach Mark Snow reported.
The next meet for Kate and her Laker teammates will be Friday, Jan. 2 at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham. The meet is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
