Gordon Weeks

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Gordon Lewis Weeks, 73, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., passed on Sunday, Jan. 24, 2016, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 16, 1942, in Damariscotta, son of the late Arthur L. Weeks and Mildred Mahan Weeks.

Gordon was a member of the First Congregational Church of Bristol, the Maine Lacrosse Officials Association and the Jaycees of Bridgton. He retired from Bridgton Academy in 1991, where he taught math, coached football and basketball, and was the assistant headmaster.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jill Weeks; three sons, Jeffrey Weeks of Raymond, Scott Weeks of Deland, Fla. and Michael Weeks of Port Orange, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
