Gerry Alice Small, 80, of Bridgton, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at her home.

She was born in Bridgton on Sept. 20, 1937, to Carl and Ruth Irish. Gerry enjoyed knitting, gardening and bird-watching. Her greatest joy was her 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her daughters, Ruby Small of Naples and Betty Small of Ohio; her sons, Jerry Irish of Bridgton, Richard H. Small Jr. of Saco, Robert Small of North Bridgton, and Ray Small of Bridgton; and her sister Irene Morton of Casco. She was predeceased by her husband Richard H. Small Sr.; her sister Joanne Knight of Bridgton; and her brother Ralph Irish of Forsythe, Georgia.
