Gerard L. Goslin

Gerard L. Goslin, 71, of Stoughton, Mass., passed away at Copley at Stoughton on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012. Born in Boston, Gerard graduated from North Quincy High School and received an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Bentley. Mr. Goslin worked as an accountant for John Hancock for 25 years before retiring in 1995.

Gerard loved sports and belonged to various baseball, basketball and bowling leagues. He coached soccer in Stoughton and was an assistant with the Boy Scouts. Gerard loved camping in Naples, Maine on Trickey Pond.

He was the beloved husband of Linda L. (Larsen); the loving father of LeeAnn Connolly and her husband Sean of N. Easton, Mass., and Mark Goslin and his wife Julie of Chelmsford, Mass.; the brother of Barbara Myers and her husband Edward of Randolph, Mass., Richard Goslin and his wife Elizabeth of Weymouth, Mass., and the late James Goslin. He is also survived by his grandchildren Kiersten and Ryan Connolly; his mother-in-law Jennie Larsen of Naples, Maine; and his brother-in-law Chris Larsen and his wife Cathy of Naples, Maine.

Visiting hours were held at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington St., Canton, Mass. on Friday, February 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass was held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private.
