George Glicos

NEW PORT RICHEY, FLA. — George E. Glicos, 84, of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away on Nov. 27, 2016, of congestive heart failure.

George was a businessman in Westbrook and Portland before retiring to Florida in 1992. He was active in the Greek Orthodox Church in both Portland and Florida.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 59 years, Urania Zahares Glicos; a son, David of Raymond; a daughter, Maria Taylor of Seminole, Fla.; a son, Dean of New Port Richey, Fla.; five grandchildren and a nephew.

Funeral services were held in Florida on Dec. 5, 2016.
