BEVERLY HILLS, Fla. — Esther Thurston Hues, 76, passed away Oct. 20, 2010 in Beverly Hills, Fla.

She was born on March 6, 1934 in Naples, the daughter of Rayford and Claire Thurston. She lived in Casco until 1951 when the family moved to Connecticut. Esther married Albert Martocchio and they had three sons, Albert Jr., Robert and Kevin. From Connecticut, they made their home in Tampa, Fla.

She was predeceased by her parents; husband Albert; son Kevin; and brother Richard Thurston.

She is survived by her second husband, Ken Hues of Beverly Hills, Fla.; sons Albert Jr. and Robert of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren; sisters Natalie Merrill of Wallingford, Conn., Ruth Robinson of Naples, Joan Rines of Winsted, Conn. and Dorothy McAllister of Jacksonville, Fla.

Arrangements by Charles E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, Fla. Committal will be in the Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
