Eric Knudsen

LAS VEGAS, NEV. — Eric P. Knudsen, 47, of Las Vegas, Nev. passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014.

Born May 8, 1966 in Portland, he had been a Las Vegas resident for the past 14 years. A former Calvin Klein representative, he was an animal lover and enjoyed traveling and surfing.

He was preceded in death by his father, Angus B. Knudsen and his grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Berthilda “Beth” Knudsen of Las Vegas; his partner of 15 years, James D. Strawley of Las Vegas; siblings Dennis Knudsen of Naples, Richard Knudsen of Spring Hill, Fla., Steven Knudsen of Lexington, S.C., Deborah Besaw of Las Vegas, Nev., Stephen Richard of Naples and Roger Richard of Waterford; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will also be held in the Portland area this summer. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Westbrook.
