SEBAGO — Elizabeth Mae “Betty” Moffatt Tinkham, 84, of Sebago died on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013 at Bridgton Health Care Center.

She was born in Pontiac, Mich. on July 31, 1929, a daughter of Walter and Avis Flynn Moffatt. She was educated in Auburn schools and was a graduate of Edward Little High School. She married George C. Tinkham on April 15, 1950 in Portland.

She was employed by Porteous, Mitchell and Braun in Portland for many years. She, along with her husband and two sons, Dennis and Daniel, moved to Sebago in 1963. She and her husband were Christmas tree farmers in Sebago for 30 years and were both members of the Sebago Lions Club since 1988. Betty will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.

Surviving are her husband, George C. Tinkham; her sons, Dennis and Daniel; and several grandchildren.

A funeral service will be on Saturday, Oct. 5, at 11 a.m. at the Sebago Center Community Church on Route 107 in Sebago. Arrangements are by Watson, Neal & York Funeral Home, Cornish.
