OTISFIELD — Elaine Josephine Merrill, 78, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Sept. 29, 2017 peacefully at her home.

She worked most of her life at G.T.E, where she retired in 1987.

She spent her retired years with her family.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Donald M. Merrill; two brothers and a sister; three children, Donnalene, Laurette and Donnie; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by two brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 at Murch Cemetery, South Casco. Online condolences may be left for the family at hallfuneralhome.net
