WINDHAM — Elaine D. Walter, 70, died on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
She was born in Dover, N.H. on April 5, 1944 to Lena (Gallant) Martineau and Claudius Martineau.
Elaine retired from Chipco in 2009. She loved playing bingo and Bunco and spending time with her family.
Elaine is predeceased by her husband of 27 years, Butch Walter; her parents; and her brother, Tut Martineau.
She is survived by her son, Michael Cantin of Gray; daughters, Debbie Oelschlager of Dover, N.H., Stacy Harriman of Lisbon Falls, Dawn Verrill of Gorham and Suzanne Miller of Casco; seven grandsons; a sister, Shirley Manley of Dover, N.H.; two nieces, and two nephews; and many other family members.
Visiting hours were held from 11 a.m. to noon, on Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Dolby Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham, with a service immediately following at noon. Burial followed in Brooklawn Memorial Park, Portland. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.dolbyfuneralchapels.com
