Eileen Frost

WINDHAM — Eileen “Jackie” Marie Frost, 72, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 in Portland.

The daughter of Joseph and Alberta (Morrison) Landry, she was born in Bath on March 20, 1945. She graduated from Portland High School, and then waitressed at Dimillo’s. She became a bookkeeper for Husson College, then attended the college earning her bachelor’s degree in accounting. In 1986, she started working at Mactec, where she retired in 2008. One of the earlier jobs that Eileen held was at Fairchild’s, where she met her longtime partner Linda Lee Bass.

Eileen enjoyed the outdoors, especially her flowers, fishing and camping. She loved all her dogs including Rocket, Gigi, Max and Maggie. She enjoyed traveling where she, Linda, Patty and Dick went on several trips in their RVs, as well as going on several cruises. She also enjoyed playing bingo and slots at Foxwoods and Oxford Casino. Eileen’s group of friends she met through her Stampin’ Up club meant a lot to her. After Eileen retired she enjoyed volunteering. She was very generous with her time and skills, volunteering at the hospital helping new moms make cards, donating time and cards to the Ronald McDonald house, joining the Lions Club in Windham, and helping people with tax preparation though AARP.

Eileen was predeceased by her son, Daniel (Jay) Frost.

She is survived by her partner of over 50 years Linda of Windham; her daughters, Therese (Tammy) Parker of Sebago, Belinda Hutchinson of Westbrook and Deborah Moody of Mason N.H.; her son, Kevin Bass, of Windham; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at Dolby, Blais & Segee Funeral Chapel, 434 River Road, Windham.
