OVIEDO, FLA. — Edwin C. McKeague, 95, of Oviedo, Fla., formerly of Westbrook and Raymond, passed away on May 29, 2012.

He was born on Sept. 10, 1916, in Westbrook, the son of Charles and Laura (Barnes) McKeague. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Portland for many years and was a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was currently a member of Downey Memorial Church in Orlando, Fla.

He worked at S.D. Warren Paper Co. in Westbrook for 35 years, until he retired in 1979.

He and his wife Dorothy (Hunter) McKeague were married for 70 years until her death on Jan. 1, 2010.

Edwin is survived by a son, Gerald McKeague of Orlando, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Emerson of Oviedo, Fla.; a grandson, a granddaughter, two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held in Westbrook at a later date.
