FITCHBURG, MASS. — Edward DiPaolo, 62, of Fitchburg, Mass. died Thursday, March 1, 2012, in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Worcester, Mass.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1950 in Portland and was the son of Rosario and Adeline (Ricci) DiPaolo. He worked as a product manager for Price Chopper in Worcester. He was an avid sports fan.

Edward is survived by his wife of 41 years, Michele L. (LaFrance) DiPaolo of Fitchburg, Mass.; his mother Adeline (Ricci) DiPaolo of Portland; his three daughters, Sherry Robes of Fitchburg, Mass., Tanya DiPaolo of Sterling, Mass. and Gina DiPaolo of Fitchburg, Mass.; four sisters, Annette Hoglund of Portland, Diane Morency of Wells, Donna Walstrom of Casco and Debra Sweet of Portland; his two grandsons and a granddaughter.

He was predeceased by his father Rosario DiPaolo; and brother, George E. DiPaolo.
